Where were you born / Where did you grow up?  Toowoomba.

 

What did you love to do as a kid?  Climb trees.

 

What did you want to be when you were growing up?  A fire fighter.

 

What is your favourite food?  Cheese.

 

Where is your favourite holiday destination?  Anywhere with a good beach.

 

Where in the world would you like to go where you haven’t been before?  Egypt.

 

Tell us an interesting fact about you.  I love indoor plants and I’m great at killing them.

 

What is your life motto?  If you aren’t changing, you’re choosing.

Sandy brings a lot of fun & positivity to the Optimum Movement team and believes therapy should be meaningful, fun, engaging and easy to replicate at home.

She has developed her skills through clinical experience in a variety of paediatric, community health and school settings both here in Australia and in the UK.  Sandy is also formally trained to administer the Assessment of Motor and Process Skills (AMPS), the Assisting Hand Assessments (AHA), and trained in the CO-OP approach.

Sandy believes in empowering individuals and utilising a strength-based approach to support them to engage in meaningful activities.  She has a passion for supporting individuals and their families to increase participation and maximise independence.

Sandy is a member of OT Australia and is based in our Cleveland clinic.
