What did you love to do as a kid?  I loved to sing and dance

 

What did you want to be when you were growing up?  A Circus Performer

 

What is your favourite food?  Chocolate

 

Where is your favourite holiday destination?  The Sunshine Coast

 

Where in the world would you like to go where you haven’t been before?  The Maldives

 

Tell us an interesting fact about you.  I was a ballet dancer for 15 years and taught dance classes for our littlest ballerinas.

Libby graduated from the University of Queensland  in 2019 and has experience working in the community disability setting with a wide and varied caseload across the lifespan.

Libby has since developed a special interest in working with children with physical impairment, in particular Cerebral Palsy, as well as in the world of assistive technology.  She  loves to work with children and their families to participate in their everyday lives to their maximum potential.  She uses a goal-directed, occupation-based therapy approach to therapy, that includes a lot of creativity, games and play along the way.

Libby is always looking to build on her knowledge and has continued her professional development completing the following courses:

  • Advanced Bimanual Hand Therapy (Brian Hoare, 2023)

  • Sleepability: Promoting Positive Sleep Practices with Children (Annie O’Connell, 2020)
  • Maybo training – Managing risks of behaviours of concern (2020)

Libby is a member of OT Australia and works from our Cleveland clinic.
