What did you love to do as a kid? Play outside, make my own movies and bake.
What did you think you were going to be growing up? A teacher or an author.
Tell us an interesting fact about you? I was a competitive skipper for 13 years and have won 3 World Championships and 2 Junior Olympics with my team.
Ivy has a passion for supporting children, teens and their families in achieving their individual goals. Ivy believes in creating a fun and safe therapy environment for children and teens, to develop their skills and has a strong focus on children being active members in the therapy process. Ivy is strengths and goal focused and strongly believes in creating strategies that are easy to replicate in both home and school environments.
Ivy graduated from The University of Queensland with First Class Honours. She has a wide range of experience working with children and teens, and has a keen interest in working with children on the Autism Spectrum which stems from her having a brother on the Spectrum. Ivy loves running social skills groups in both PEERS for adolescence and Secret Agent Society Ivy is also trained in Cognitive Orientation to Occupational Performance (CO-OP).
Ivy is a member of OT Australia and works from our Cleveland clinic.
