Tell us an interesting fact about you.  I am an ambidextrous OT.  I can use both hands equally.  (Although I tend to use my right).

What is your life motto?  We can always try again tomorrow.

Hey, I’m Chloe!  My friends describe me as kind, caring and very approachable.

I graduated with an MSc in Occupational Therapy in Edinburgh, Scotland.  I previously worked as a Paediatric OT for the NHS in Scotland.  I worked alongside Physiotherapists and Speech and Language Therapists.

I previously studied as a Primary Teacher and worked with children and young people in schools, kindergarten and youth clubs.  I have over 10 years experience working with children and young people, and I have broad experience working with a variety of ages and diagnoses.

I loved teaching, but found my real passion in OT, as I enjoy helping others to reach their full potential and really thrive.  I enjoy having the time and capacity to work closely with children and their families, to work towards fulfilling goals and knowing that I have helped make a difference.

I believe that the child or young person and their family should always be placed at the centre of all care, support and matters which affect them.  I find it is paramount that support and therapy is catered to the individual and to their needs and goals.

I am very professional and respectful of others.  I am always keen to learn about different cultures and ways of thinking.  I am very creative and resourceful, and I love bringing this into my therapy.

I am passionate about my career.  I regularly refer to evidence-based practice in my work, and I like to keep up-to-date with research and new findings.  I see myself as a lifelong learner.

I am keen to immerse myself in the Australian healthcare system and also bring my knowledge and experiences from Scotland into the mix!
